1982 Škoda 120 L − Communist era police car in Czechoslovakia

Being affordably priced, the Škoda 120 L served reliably to the communist-era police.This yellow and white colors with 'VB' acronym were applied on Czechoslovakian police cars since 1975. 'VB' acronym means 'Veřejná bezpečnost" in Czech, i.e. 'Public Security' in English.

Skoda's started in 1964 and definitely finished in 1990. Even though these cars were continuously upgraded and, in particular, on snow
and slippery roads, they have excellent driving characteristics, their overall layout became obsolete in the Eighties.

Production: 2 million cars of the Skoda 742 type (105/120/130/135/136) were produced between 1976 and 1990.
